Project: Merrett Playground
Merrett playground had been serving as the communities only park at Waverton from 80’s and has been very dear to the community. North Sydney Council engaged Umbaco Landscape Architects to design a new park keeping the same theme ‘Car’ theme in mind. The design was intricate within the small area to include water pump and water channel carved on sandstone blocks alongside sandstone feature rocks with exposed concrete finish …etc to revitalise the space for the next few decades. Our project delivery team has carried out a masterpiece work surpassing clients and designers expectation as seen in the pictures.

Scope of Work
Demolition of existing play structures, surfaces and pavements
Stripping all balustrade and decking from existing play structure and reinstalling to AS compliance
Complete demolition and disposal of existing park structures and pavement
Earthworks to achieve the new design
Installation of new drainage lines
Supply and install Sandstone blocks, its carving for water channel
Supply and install Sandstone feature rocks
Supply and install new playground equipment
Supply and install new rubber softfall
New pathways, drinking fountains, benches and seats
New turfing, planting and mulching
Maintenance of the completed works for 8 weeks
